Job Description:
- Previous experience with Safety position with Electrical
Contractor.
- A thorough knowledge of applicable government
regulations, safety compliance, and industrial hygiene.
- Ability to work with senior management to ensure
organization’s safety, health, and environmental compliance.
- Designed and implemented safety, health, and
environmental programs.
- Managed safety, health, and environmental programs at an
establishment.
- Conducted site inspections and audits.
- Implemented Corrective Actions
- Evaluated programs, issued recommendations, and implemented corrective actions.
- Strong acumen in business practices, analytics, and strategic planning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to influence others without authority.
- Ability to work in a team setting, but comfortable with working individually
- Ability to self-start tasks and spread passion for a strong safety culture.
Encouraged Education, Certifications, and Experience:
- 4-year degree in safety from an accredited college or university
- Occupational safety and health, environmental safety and health, safety or environmental management, or safety or environmental engineering
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or Professional Engineer (PE)
