Field Safety Manager

 Job Description:

• Previous experience with Safety position with Electrical Contractor.
• A thorough knowledge of applicable government regulations, safety compliance, and industrial hygiene.
• Ability to work with senior management to ensure organization’s safety, health, and environmental compliance.
• Designed and implemented safety, health, and environmental programs.
• Managed safety, health, and environmental programs at an establishment.
• Conducted site inspections and audits.
• Implemented Corrective Actions.
• Evaluated programs, issued recommendations, and implemented corrective actions.
• Strong acumen in business practices, analytics, and strategic planning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to influence others without authority.
• Ability to work in a team setting, but comfortable with working individually
• Ability to self-start tasks and spread passion for a strong safety culture.

Encouraged Education, Certifications, and Experience:

• Degree in safety from an accredited college or university
• occupational safety and health, environmental safety and health, safety or environmental management, or safety or environmental engineering
• 5-7 years of relevant work experience
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or Professional Engineer (PE)
